Although it's relatively flat there is a lot of variety throughout the holes. Besides the island green, I'd say this is some of the best water/fairway design I've played. Not punishing, but fun. Great doglegs and there were several blind tees from the gold tips so my Golf Pad GPS map got a lot of use. And its long. Most places I don't get much use of the 4 through 7 irons, but here I didn't even use the 8 or 9 iron the whole round. They use all 7000 + yards in a thoughtful way. Conditions aren't perfect but plenty good. The layout I just really loved. Nice facilities too. Range is smallish but uniquely split down the middle with mats on one side and for a few dollars more you can play your bucket off the grass side. Overall great fun, and an especially rare find for longer hitters.
This was probably the worst course conditions I've played on! Some fairways were flooded, some were dried out with bare spots and some were a combination. The bunkers weren't taken care of and looked like they bought sand from Lowes to fill them. The greens were shaggy and not maintained, then grounds crew were watering so much it left puddles on the green. There's supposed to be a USGA event there the 21st but I hope the move it. Will probably never play there again.
If you're looking for something to do you can go to Odyssey driving range and have a great time, the relaxing atmosphere and they have limited space and practice on the driving range. If you're looking for lessons Greg is a nice gentleman PGA Pro that will definitely send you in the right direction for improving your game.
Great course. Great prices. Great people.
Amazing venue, congratulations to the newlyweds! Now let’s take some super fun Animated Photobooth Gifs. @the_odyssey_events #engaged #weddingdress #weddingplanning
Course was in great shape. Unusual high volume of golfers no carts available when we got there. Round was 5hrs and change just made it in before we lost the sun.
Wonderful staff. wonderful venue to have your wedding or event. Food is tasty! I'm a florist I own An English Garden Flowers & Gifts in Mokena and I really love working with everyone there!
Try their Sunday brunch it is amazing!
